Yves Saint Laurent Garden is one of Marrakech’s most famous attractions, known for its peaceful atmosphere, vibrant colors and beautiful botanical gardens. The garden was created by French painter Jacques Majorelle and later restored by fashion designer Yves Saint Laurent and his partner Pierre Bergé.
Today, you can wander among exotic plants, bamboo, palm trees and colorful flowers while admiring the iconic blue architecture. It’s a wonderful place to escape the busy streets of Marrakech and enjoy a unique combination of nature, art and fashion.

The garden is located in the modern district of Guéliz, just outside Marrakech’s historic medina.
From Jemaa el-Fna:
- Taxi: approximately 10–15 minutes
- Walking: approximately 30–40 minutes
- Several local buses stop nearby.

- Adults: 170 MAD (approximately €16)
- Children under 10: Free
- Discounts are available for students, Moroccan residents, and certain other groups (valid proof required).
🕘 Opening Hours:
Open daily from 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM. Please note that last admission is at 6:00 PM.
The Berber Museum and the YSL Museum have similar opening hours but close slightly earlier. Be sure to check the latest opening times before your visit, especially during Ramadan and public holidays.

- Arrive right at opening (8:00 AM) for the best photos and the fewest crowds.
- Book your tickets online to avoid queues and sold-out time slots.
- Allow 1.5 to 2 hours for a relaxed visit to the garden and the Berber Museum.
- Combine your visit with the Yves Saint Laurent Museum, it’s located right next door.
- Bring plenty of water, especially during the summer. Although the garden offers plenty of shade, Marrakech can get extremely hot.
