The Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum in Ba Dinh Square is one of the most visited sights in Hanoi. There are many visitors on weekends and national holidays.

It is the final resting place of Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam’s most iconic and popular leader, known to his people as ‘Uncle Ho’. The Mausoleum was built against the express wishes of Ho Chi Minh himself. Vietnamese from all over the country come here to pay their respects to the great leader Ho Chi Minh. The Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum has a real communist look as we know it from the old Soviet Union.
