📍Getting There?
From Bali, take a fast boat from Sanur Harbour to Nusa Penida (approximately 30–45 minutes).
From the harbour, it’s about a 45–60 minute drive to Diamond Beach. You can either rent a scooter if you’re an experienced rider or hire a private driver for a more comfortable journey. Keep in mind that some roads on Nusa Penida are narrow and can be bumpy.
Tip: Diamond Beach is best combined with other attractions on the island’s east coast.

For the best experience, visit early in the morning when temperatures are cooler, the lighting is perfect for photos, and the crowds are still minimal.

- Visit before 8:00 AM to avoid the crowds.
- Wear comfortable shoes, as the staircase is steep and uneven in some sections.
- Bring plenty of wate, the climb back up can be challenging.
- Don’t forget sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat, as there’s very little shade.
- The most spectacular photos are taken from the viewpoint at the top or halfway down the staircase.
- Swimming is not recommended due to powerful waves and dangerous currents.
