Canggu is known for surfing! You cannot go to Canggu (the surfers paradise) without booking a surf lesson. Surfing is one of the most popular activities here.

Batu Bolong Beach, Echo Beach and Berawa Beach are the best beaches for surfing. Everywhere they rent boards or you can choose to book a surf lesson at one of the many surf schools. The best time of day to surf is usually early in the morning or at the end of the day.

As a beginner you can go to Canggu Beach at Old Man’s. Can you surf yet? Then of course just rent your own board and dive into the sea.
