Niagara Falls is a group of three waterfalls at the southern end of Niagara Gorge, spanning the border between the province of Ontario in Canada and the state of New York in the United States. Niagara Falls are world famous. Niagara Falls, as they are often sweetly called, is a once in a lifetime experience. You have to hear and feel the water, as well as experience the brute force of the water mass. The Niagara Falls are made up of three parts: Horseshoe Falls (671 meters wide), American Falls (290 m) and Bridal Veil Falls (17 m).

You can easily visit the falls on the American and Canadian sides on foot. Each part has its own charm. And if you want to get a good look at Niagara Falls, you have to look both sides. Horseshoe Falls, the largest waterfall, is on the Canadian side. From the Canadian side you can see especially the American Falls and the Horseshoe Falls.

Liberty Island is the island where the statue is on. It is best to visit this by ferry, which also visits another island: Ellis Island. You take the ferry from Lower Manhattan, such as Battery Park.
