Are you planning to visit the Medina of Rabat? See our information below!

Information:

The Medina of Rabat is a compact medina where you can shop perfectly. Compared to those in Marrakech or Fes, the Medina in Rabat is surprisingly quiet and orderly. Gigantic carcasses of cows or sheep dangle right next to a carpet shop, and meanwhile the smell is obscured by dozens of shops selling dried herbs and spices. A medina is a feast for your senses.

Today’s Rabat was built outside the Medina, making the Medina an impressive piece of history today. But because it is not so busy in Rabat, the old medina is less chaotic and slightly more accessible than in other Moroccan cities. Feel free to get lost, because that’s the only way to discover Morocco in real life.
