Nusa Penida Treehouse (Rumah Pohon)

Are you planning to visit Nusa Penida Treehouse? See our information below!

Information:

This is the most famous Airbnb on the whole island: Nusa Penida Treehouse, also known as Rumah Pohon. The Airbnb is, as the name suggests, a treehouse in which you can sleep with a fantastic view of the sea, the many cliffs, gorges and hills of Nusa Penida.

Unfortunately, the Airbnb is often fully booked and you can’t sleep here. But not to worry, you can also visit this cool place without an overnight stay and just enjoy the beautiful views and the various treehouses on this property! You can buy a ticket at the car park and then you can just walk around and look around. You can just climb the stairs of the treehouse, even though it feels very strange to do so because you know this is just someone’s abode. A little further up from the treehouses, you will find a mini temple with a great view. This viewpoint is often referred to as Thousand Island viewpoint.

If you are on time and manage to book an overnight stay. Then you will 100% have the most beautiful sunrise and sunset ever.

Broken Beach and Bay, Nusa Penida

Are you planning to visit Broken Beach? See our information below!

Information:

A unique attraction, Broken Beach of Bay is a cool rock formation found on Nusa Penida. A hole has been punched in the rocks, creating a natural bridge that you can walk across. It is beautifully impressive natural phenomenon. They also call it Pasir Uug. The sea here is bright blue in colour. Unfortunately, you can’t swim here most of the year, the sea is far too rough for that. But walking around and taking photos is the most fun here.

Be prepared for a gruelling journey if you want to go to Broken Beach. Many locals joke, “Oooh you’re going to Broken Beach? Then you have to take the Broken Road!”. The road is poorly maintained and driving on it is very bumpy. Broken Beach is less than a 5-minute walk from Angel’s Billabong, so you can combine the two sights perfectly.

Information:

Diamond Beach is one of the most beautiful beaches in Nusa Penida. Diamond Beach is a beach, as any beach should be: super-white sand, clear blue sea and completely surrounded by high cliffs and green palm trees.

Remember! You won’t get to this beautiful beach quickly and easily. From the beautiful viewpoint, you can go down a steep staircase. At the beginning, you have to descend via an easy endless staircase along the cliffs, but at the end you have to climb more and really hold on to ropes. Be careful here, there can be dangerous situations due to the crowds.

On the other side of the cliff is Atuh Beach, this is also a beautiful beach with clear blue waters and a white sand beach. This one is a bit easier to reach.
