This is the most famous beach in Phuket and perhaps even in all of Thailand. Phuket has a total of 35 different beaches, from mega busy ones like: Patong Beach to quiet gems like: Freedom Beach, Banana Beach and Laem Sing Beach.ย
Patong Beach is a kilometre-long sandy beach where all kinds of water activities can be done, such as paragliding and surfing, but the beach also offers lovely beach beds and umbrellas for rent. It is a beautiful beach with virtually no trash anywhere and the water is crystal clear.
After a day of relaxing on the beach, fancy a beer, snack or socialising? Then Patong Beach is the place to be, as it is located next to Bangla Road (also known as the ‘Bangla Walking Street‘), home to the busiest nightlife in Phuket.

- Beach beds and umbrellas are crowded and quickly occupied some days. Therefore, bring your own umbrella, mat and towels!
