Information:
The best way to explore Lantau Island in Hong Kong is via the Ngong Ping 360 cable car. With a total length of 5.7 kilometres, this cable car takes you through the air from Tung Chung Town Centre to the mountain peak of Ngong Ping. The cable car takes about half an hour here. On the way, enjoy the turquoise ocean, green mountain peaks and, with good weather, the skyscrapers of downtown Hong Kong. Arriving at Ngong Ping Village, you have all kinds of souvenir shops and walk to the Big Buddha and Po Lin Monastery within minutes.
Two different cabins are available for the cable car. The standard cabin and the crystal cabin, in this one the floor has been replaced by a glass variant, which really allows you to fully enjoy the beautiful views. It is a special experience and you can hardly get a better view of Lantau Island!

Ngong Ping 360 is open every day of the year, Monday to Friday from: 10:00 AM to 06:00 PM. On weekends on Saturdays and Sundays from: 09:00 AM to 06:30 PM.
Tips and Tricks!
Here are some tips you should know before taking the Ngong Ping 360 (cable car).
- It can get very crowded, so it is advisable to buy your tickets in advance (same price, but a lot faster!).
- The full ride through the air is 5.7 kilometres long and takes about 25 minutes.
