Information:

The Naschmarkt is one of the oldest markets in Austria and considered by many to be the most fun and delicious sight in Vienna. Centrally located, the Naschmarkt is a few minutes’ walk from Karlsplatz. Walk leisurely past the many stalls and enjoy plenty of fruit, vegetables and various delicacies from every country from dawn till dusk. Around the Naschmarkt, you will also find dozens of small restaurants, where you can eat really anything.

Especially on Saturdays, this is one of the best sights in Vienna and large numbers of tourists visit the market. It is a good combination of people-watching and tasting delicacies.

Opening hours:

The Naschmarkt is open all year round from Monday to Friday from: 06:00 AM to 09:00 PM and on Saturdays from 06:00 AM to 06:00 PM.

Tips and Tricks!

Here are a few tips you should know before visiting the Naschmarkt!

  • On Saturdays, the market closes 3 hours earlier, but also hosts a fun flea market.
  • Nowadays you can pay by debit card at many stalls at the market, but having cash with you is easy here!
