Essaouira, Morocco

Essaouira is a port city and the medina (old town) is protected by 18th-century seafront ramparts called the Skala de la Kasbah. In contrast to the four royal cities of Morocco, Essaouira is a bit more relaxed and peaceful. It is only a three hour drive from Marrakech, so many people come to Essaouira for 1 day. Are you curious about the sights of Essaouira and what there is to do? Read our best tips and tricks below!
