Sweden is a Nordic country on the Scandinavian Peninsula in northern Europe. The country borders Norway to the west and north, Finland to the east and Denmark to the southwest via a bridge-tunnel over the Öresund. Sweden’s official language is Swedish, but Sámi, Finnish and English are also spoken throughout the country. The best-known cities are: Stockholm, Gothenburg, Malmo and Helsingborg.
